An elegant addition to any room in the house, this beautiful ostrich eggshell lamp boasts a cutout of the African continent on the back while the front proudly displays the continent’s majestic Big 5 – the elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Each is stylishly depicted through intricate carving in their natural African bush setting. The lamps are set on simple stands. Certificates of authenticity are supplied on request.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
