Bringing a touch of Africa into the home, a proud lion stares out from the front of this exquisitely carved ostrich eggshell lamp while on the back a standing buffalo is depicted among trees and bush. An elephant, rhino and leopard adorn the sides. The cut out space on top of the lamp allows the warm light to escape. An elegant freestanding metal stand supports the eggshell. Certificates of authenticity supplied on request.

Metal Lamp stands, available in matt black or white upon request, are 180mm high.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
