Simply stunning and a lot of fun, these handcarved ostrich eggshell lamps have delicate ‘stars’ gracing the lamp while the front features bushmen figures – hunting, stalking and interacting. On the back, a cutout of the African continent allows the warm glow of the lamp to escape. Simply done, the lamp makes a stunning addition to living rooms. Each is set on a freestanding base. Certificates of authenticity supplied on request.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
