These ostrich eggshell lamps, carefully carved by South African artisans, beautifully depicts Father Christmas and a representative of the Christ child in the manger triggering those very evocative Christmas sentiments. The rich imagery is balanced by star details on the side and a large star splash cut-out on the top.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
