Providing a bespoke lighting experience, these hand-carved tealight candleholders are made from African ostrich eggshell. The beautiful and delicate hummingbird is depicted wings aloft amidst flowers while on the back, an exquisite flower is depicted completing the nature feel of this unique lamps. Each is set on a brass stand and takes a standard size tealight candle to provide an ambient glow. Certificates of authenticity supplied on request.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
