The simplistic carvings etched into carefully prepared African ostrich eggshell provide a beautiful glow. The eggs are set upon slender metal stands and provide freestanding light, perfect for atmospheric lounges, bedrooms or studies and offering a subtle African touch to complement stylish decor. This lamp can also be made as a pendant upon request.

Metal Lamp stands, available in matt black or white, are 180mm high.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
