An African ostrich with fluffed up tail feathers struts her stuff in front of the farmhouse while her chicks follow behind on this quirky ostrich eggshell lamp. Beautifully carved into the eggshell, the ostriches come to life on this lamp. The back features an ostrich in motion against a detailed background of shrubs and mountains. A freestanding metal stand provides support. Certificates of authenticity supplied on request.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
