With a focal feature of a spectacular starburst surrounded by circular sparks, this Starburst Lamp is a fun feature in bedrooms, lounges and studies. The vibrant star and surrounding sparks are carefully carved by South African artists into an African ostrich eggshell, which is then mounted on a minimalistic metal stand providing freestanding ambient light. The Starburst Lamp makes for a delightful gift. Certificates of authenticity supplied on request. These lamps can also be made as pendants upon request.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
