The perfect shape of a teardrop with its elongated heart shape is replicated through careful carving on this stunning ostrich eggshell lamp. The teardrop is duplicated in symmetrical lines that wind their way from back to front around the egg. The ostrich eggs are set on a simple metal stand to create a freestanding lamp that complements any style of decor. These lamps can also be made as pendants upon request.

Metal Lamp stands, available in matt black or white, are 180mm high.

Mark is a designer from Dysselsdorp in the Western Cape. For 16 years Mark has been creating inspiring designs and carving them into ostrich egg shells. Taught by George Malgas, Mark has mastered the skill of using dentistry tools to delicately drill the beautiful imagery into the shells. He finds joy in seeing the end result of his work and the satisfaction from happy customers.
